Bio

Kathryn Bousquet completed her Ph.D. in Psychology at UC Davis in 2018, where she conducted research in both the Human Memory Lab and the Cognitive Neuroscience of Language Lab under the mentorship of Dr. Tamara Swaab. Her work focused on the interplay between sentence processing and memory, specifically examining how various sources of information are used to generate expectations during sentence comprehension and how these expectations influence online processing and memory representations. Following her doctoral studies, Kathryn joined Napa Valley College as a Professor of Psychology. In this role, she continues to apply her expertise in cognitive psychology and neuroscience to educate and mentor students, fostering a deep understanding of psychological principles and research methodologies.
