Assistant Professor of Psychology, UC Santa Cruz
Megan received her Ph.D. in Psychology from UC Davis in 2012, conducting her dissertation research in the Swaab Lab. Her work focused on global and local language processing, attention, cognitive control, and individual differences, including studies in individuals with schizophrenia. She used event-related potentials (ERPs) and EEG oscillatory measures to investigate the neural dynamics underlying language comprehension and executive function. Following graduation, Megan continued collaborating with the lab on projects examining predictive language processing, including graded expectations and adaptation to contextual cues. She is now an Assistant Professor at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she continues her research on language, cognition, and brain function.
